The HP IB 4X QDR Conn-X PCI-e G2 Dual-port, DDR Conn-X PCI-e G2 Dual-port HCA, and DDR Conn-X PCI-e Dual-port HCAs are based on the ConnectX IB technology, and the HP IB 4X DDR PCI-e Dual-port HCA and Dual-port memory free HCA are based the InfiniHost III EX technology, both are from Mellanox. The Mellanox InfiniBand technologies deliver low-latency and high-bandwidth for performance-driven server and storage clustering applications in High-performance computing (HPC), and enterprise data centers. Parallelized HPC applications, clustered data bases, and latency and bandwidth sensitive transactional services will achieve significant performance improvements resulting in reduced completion time and lower cost per operation. The QDR IB Conn-X HCA has two QSFP ports capable of up to 40Gbps per port, and the DDR IB Conn-X HCA has two CX4 ports capable of up to 20Gbps per port. The PCI-e G2 HCAs are specified to support PCI Express 2.0 x8. The InfiniHost III DDR HCAs have two CX4 ports capable of up to 20Gbls per port. All HCAs support PCI Express x8 interface.
